Packaging Design loves to share stories of collaborating with our customers to successfully fulfill their packaging needs and goals. Our work with Modern Sprout, specialists in hydroponic indoor gardening products and gifts, is a great example.
Modern Sprout challenged Packaging Design with their concept of packaging for interchangeable components. This concept would allow them to market
several different configurations of products into Holiday Gift Bundles. Packaging Design rose to the challenge and spent countless hours consulting with the customer and testing design ideas in order to arrive at a solution which would fit the customer’s needs.
Product presentation was extremely important on this project since the packaging was for gift configurations, but product protection was equally important. Packaging Design was able to create corrugated inserts to hold each of the individual products securely and prevent damage. A beautifully presented gardening gift set with a broken planter would be a disaster, disappointing the gift recipient as well as the gift giver.
Packaging Design was also able to help Modern Sprout accomplish their goals of both retail and direct to consumer (think internet sales) packaging. The interchangeable corrugated inserts were designed to go inside eith
er a corrugated tray for easy product viewing in a retail setting or a mailer to be sent directly to the consumer. Modern Sprout utilized Packaging Design’s corrugated printing capabilities to make both the retail tray and the mailer “pop” with their unique graphics.
